Why are certain area's of my LCD display out of focus?
If you find that certain area's of an LCD monitor are out of focus, the most common reason is that the PHASE needs adjustment on the monitors OSD screen. Bring up the OSD by pressing the menu key - Use the arrow keys to get to the PHASE control (pair of binoculars) - Press the select key. The best way to describe adjust of PHASE is to move up and down the scale whilst watching the display, you will see the picture improves or worsens whilst moving up and down the scale. Eventually you will get to optimal display quality.
Note: You may have to adjust the PHASE control after changing resolution or refresh rates - If you cannot obtain an optimal picture quality change the refresh rate (explained below in the "How do I change refresh rate" section and repeat the instructions above)

I am using Win98/ Me. I have installed my monitor, but I only get 640 x 480 and 16 colours?
This is normally caused by corrupt display adaptor drivers. We suggest you contact the retailer of your PC.
If you wish to try fixing the problem, here are the instructions. (Please note.. We take no responsibility if things do not work out)
It is essential that you follow these instruction carefully to correct this problem.
Firstly you must note down exactly what Windows reports for the type of graphics adaptor that is installed in your PC. To do this..
Right click on desktop / Click on properties / Select setting tab settings tab..
Underneath the picture of the monitor you will see what windows is reporting as the adaptor (example: Plug and Play monitor on NVIDIA Gefore 4 Ti 4200) it is very important that you make a note of what windows reports - If things go wrong you will need this information later.
Goto Control panel - Systems icon - Device manager tab .
Double click on display adaptor (you should see the adaptor listed that you noted down earlier) Single click on this adaptor and then click remove. Windows will prompt you to confirm removal and then request to restart. Upon re-starting Windows will firstly install the adaptor drivers (via the install wizard menu's) and then request another re-start. After which windows will then install the plug and play monitor driver. You should now get higher resolution and colour rates.
